-Use flux core soldering wire
-cut about 5 mm off the insulation
-take the two end and let the stends of wire cross then twist them together (if I'm saying this right) tehn wrap the soldering wire around the twisted wires.
-before you use srink tubing, apply liquid tape to the bare wires, let dry THEN place the srink tube over the soldered area and use aheat gun to srink the tubing.
Use a butane soldering gun, it runs hotter than electric, a good brand is Weller.
